Persona World Guidance Project -- Encyclopedia Britannica -- Jun Kurosu |
When Jun first appeared in Innocent Sin, he was being manipulated by Nyarlathotep. Originally Jun had been close to the heroes, but Nyarlathotep had twisted him and was using him as a tool. In Innocent Sin he was one of the main characters as well as being the Joker, but in Eternal Punishment he's merely an ordinary high school student. He doesn't remember any of the events that occurred in the world of the Other Side. Though he was tormented by cruel fate in Innocent Sin, in Eternal Punishment Jun is finally happy and content. |

Smiling |
After rediscovering his friends, Jun regained a little of his fresh, bright smile. This innocent expression is very unusual. |
Anger |
Though usually Jun looks calm, here he is showing deep anger. His teeth are clenched, and he discovers himself standing in front of his companions. |
In Distress |
Both hands clutching his head, he's trying to grasp a life-or-death situation. This portrait is seen when he's trying to handle dealing with his problems alone. |

Grief |
A lonely expression that Jun wears often. While he appears to be handling the pressure well, he's actually holding back tears. |
Normal |
Jun greatly resembles his mother in appearance. He can sometimes give the impression that he's cold, and at first glance one might even think his pretty face hard. |

Ruled by Aquarius |
A typical Aquarius (the Water-Carrier), Jun is a hard worker and enthusiastic about intellectual study. He can spend long stretches of time in research and study, and is likely to become a scholar. He got this natural precision from his father, Akinari Kashihara, who is himself an Aquarius. Aquarius often shoulders the role of head of his group. It's also in Aquarius' nature to love group activities and spending time with other people, and he enjoys it when they have to depend on his leadership. Drawing on Nyarlathotep's power, Jun as the Joker used his Aquarian nature to recruit the members of the Masked Gang. |

ning of a new cycle. On the other hand, in the reversed position it expresses misfortune and readiness for a reversal of circumstances. When the Wheel of Fortune swung low, it marked the period when Jun was the Joker; when the wheel reached its nadir, Jun's friendships unravelled. From that point on, Jun's life began a slow upturn, until his misfortunes finally ended. |
