The Persona World Guidance Project

Welcome to the Persona World Guidance Project! I'm Yoshitsune (Yosi for short). This site contains an in-progress translation of Persona World Guidance, the companion book to the Persona series of console video games. Produced by Atlus of Japan's R&D1 development team, the Persona series is a spinoff of the larger Megami Tensei series

Recent Updates...

5/11/04 - Wow, hard to believe it's been over two years since I last updated. A lot's happened in that time, but suffice to say that I'm picking this page back up. I've done quite a few more entries that I haven't posted (and which will be being posted in the near future, hopefully) and in the process I also hope to convert the site from the ugly-ass Publisher HMTL format to much cleaner FrontPage HTML.

But because I've been gone so long, here's some stuff from the Shin Megami Tensei Trading Card Game:

I hope to put together an actual site for the SMT TCG at some point - I've got plenty more translated either fully or partially, and there's very little info available on the card game in English.

4/22/02 - Sorry for the lack of update-age for so long...I've been working on a new look for the page. So...what does everyone think? Yes, I know, I should be translating more entries rather than changing the look of the page again; but I think the new layout approximates the look of the actual Persona World Guidance book much better, and enhances the total PWG experience. ^_^ I had been using Adobe PageMill to create this page, but it didn't offer me the freedom I was hoping for; now I'm using Microsoft Publisher, which lets me do the fancier things that I need (though it took me a while to be able to get it to compile my page).

I've added pictures to quite a few entries. (Be especially sure to check out the Flowers page and the Jun Kurosu page!) There are still a lot without pics, but they'll come in time. I've also updated quite a few entries -- I corrected "Sky Science Museum" to "Aviation Museum", and finished the entry on Yuuko Himeno (thanks to Chernobyl Barbie, who confirmed that it was correct.)

Other projects: I've added a section for Persona 2: Innocent Sin GameShark codes (translated from a Japanese page). I'm also working on an Innocent Sin Persona FAQ, which will go up here once it's a little more complete. And I'm debating whether to try scanning/translating the one Persona manga that I have (let me know your opinion on whether I should or not).

2/23/02 - Wow...an update only two weeks after the last one. I'd better not set a trend. ^_^

I just got Innocent Sin a week or two ago, so most updates for a while will be devoted to IS stuff. But that's what everyone wants to know about anyway, right? Also, I've added pictures for Caracol and Karukozaka High School!

2/10/02 - Whoo! I was planning to update about a week and a half ago, but we had a storm in Kansas City and lost power for five days...and I've just now managed to catch up enough to have time to update. But here it is! More good news: I've scanned in some pictures and I'm working to clean them up for posting.

1/13/02 - Eep! It's been over a month since I updated! Well, I have a buttload of excuses for the belated update (my PlayStation 2 was stolen, I had family up for the holidays, I was sick for a couple of weeks, I was absorbed in Final Fantasy X and in replaying Suikoden II) but the actual reason is, well, I'm lazy. ^_^

Sorry I only have three new entries, though. I have a few more almost entirely translated, but I'm having some problems getting them to make sense. Hopefully I'll have them done for the next one.

I do have, though, a new version of the Shin Megami Tensei If... Walkthrough/Translation! I've added a little more of the walkthrough and a very early item list. Nothing earthshaking, though. I also changed "Belfegorl" in Akari Hoshi's entry to its correct translation, "Belphegor."
