Source image adjustment

Three images of the Arabian show horse Haziz were selected and processed. Each image was taken with a 70-200 f2.8 lens mounted on a Canon EOS10D body. Each original frame is in the Adobe RGB color space at 3072 X 2048 (6MP).

Montage of processed images

Hanging title includes alpha channel over background. This image is 1326KB. Notice how it loads slower than all the other images. The image was left large to demonstrate the value of optimizing each image for page loading.

Transparent title question

From the assignment...
"Make the area not covered by a picture transparent and save the file as a .gif or .png with a transparent background.
Does this create a problem for your anti-aliased text?"
This question is vague enough to not really be answerable. Text can have properties, sizes or colors, but probably not "problems". Regardless, the text over the montage hangs off the image and achieves the intended effect.
