I have graduated from UMKC on December 2008. Here is the link to my new website: http://www.networks.howard.edu/zhouj

The stay at UMKC is a beautiful memory in my life. I really appreciate the enormous support from my advisor Dr. Mitchell, a super kind, knowledgeable and multi-talented professor. Also deeply impressed is the strong group of professors in the area of networking in my Ph.D committe: Dr. Beard, Dr. Appie, Dr. Sohraby and Dr. Medhi. They have helped develop my abilities in different aspects that are indispensable for pursuing an academic career.

What will also never be forgotten are the extremely friendly people in Kansas City, which I and my family were able to get to know through two organizations: the ISI led by Carol Douglas and the Craven family, and Conversational English led by Roger and Pam Lanz. I was told that the Kansas City area is famous for three products: beef, corn, and broadcaster. I think we should add one: friendship.
